Distributed Environment for Simulation, Rapid Engineering, and Experimentation (DESIREE)
DESIREE is the most realistic and advanced simulator of en route and terminal air traffic control systems currently available. DESIREE precisely replicates the functions and user interfaces of DSR and STARS and interfaces with numerous systems that are not yet available in the field. DESIREE also provides extensive data collection capabilities.
In addition to serving as a simulation platform, DESIREE is designed for rapid engineering of user interfaces and functionality. Elements of DESIREE can be modified in nearly real time to facilitate user-centered design activities.
